Platform Fees and Your Guarantees as an Tutor
Know exactly how much you'll earn and how your rights are protected
Platform Fees
Platform fee based on assignment type
How Is the Fee Rate Determined?
The rate depends on how the student reached you:
- Direct assignment (10%): The student already knows you and selects you directly — a returning client or someone who found you through a personal referral.
- Indirect assignment (20%): The student is new and this is your first interaction — they found you through the platform (search, browsing, auto-matching).
What Do the Fees Cover?
- Payment Protection: Platform ensures money reaches you
- Dispute System: Fair mediation if problems occur
- Technical Support: 24/7 assistance
- Infrastructure: Hosting, file storage, chat system
- Marketing: Bringing students to the platform

When any transaction completes, your earnings are held in "frozen" status for a specified period before becoming available for withdrawal. This system protects all parties.
Freeze Periods
| Service Type | Freeze Period | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| Large Tasks | Released immediately when student accepts, or automatically after 100 days if no action taken | Protect student until quality confirmed |
| Quick Questions | 72 hours | Short review period |
Earnings Lifecycle

Released immediately when student accepts, or automatically after 100 days if no action taken
Transferred to your wallet or bank account
Automatic Release
How earnings release works:
- For large tasks: Released immediately when the student accepts the work. If the student doesn't accept and doesn't open a dispute, released automatically after 100 days
- For quick questions: Released automatically after 72 hours
System checks pending earnings every 72 hours and releases eligible ones.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why do platform fees vary between 10% and 20%?
Direct assignments (10%) mean the student already knows you and chooses you directly, so the platform's role is limited to facilitating and protecting the transaction. Indirect assignments (20%) mean the platform brought the student to you through marketing and matching, so the rate is higher to cover client acquisition costs.
When can I withdraw my earnings?
After freeze period ends (work acceptance or 100 days for tasks, 72 hours for questions) and waiting 30 days from first transaction.
What if student doesn't accept work and doesn't open dispute?
Earnings are auto-released after maximum 100 days.
Can student get refund without my consent?
No, only by admin decision after opening dispute and reviewing evidence.
What if transfer to my account fails?
Amount returns to your balance and you can retry. Verify your account details are correct.
Is there a minimum withdrawal amount?
Yes. The minimum withdrawal via local bank accounts is 100 SAR. For international transfers (such as Western Union and MoneyGram), the minimum is 400 SAR. Note that international transfer fees are deducted from the transferred amount itself.
