Hide Client Identity
hide_client_identity
When enabled, the tutor will never see the client's real name. They'll only see an alias you specify or the system generates automatically.
Example:
Client Alias for Delegate

Instead of auto-generated alias, you can specify a custom alias:

- "Electrical Engineering Student"
- "Software Project Owner"
- "Premium Client"
Prevent Profile Access
can_view_client_profile
Even if the tutor sees the client's name, you can prevent them from accessing the full profile.
What's Protected When Disabled:
- Phone number
- Email address
- Geographic location
- Registration date
- Previous projects
How to Enable Privacy Protection?
When Creating Delegation
On the delegation creation page, look for "Client Privacy" section.
Enable Identity Hiding
Toggle "Hide client identity from tutor".
Set Alias (Optional)
Write a suitable alias or leave it for the system to generate.
Disable Profile Access
Make sure "can_view_client_profile" is disabled.
Visibility Modes for Tutor
There are several modes for how client information appears to the tutor
🔒 Fully Hidden
hide_client_identity = ✅
can_view_client_profile = ❌
Alias only. No other information.
When you want complete client protection.
🔓 Partially Visible
hide_client_identity = ❌
can_view_client_profile = ❌
Client's real name, but can't access their profile.
When you don't mind the name but want to protect details.
👁️ Fully Visible
hide_client_identity = ❌
can_view_client_profile = ✅
All client information available.
When you fully trust the tutor or don't need privacy protection.
Tips for Better Protection
Always enable identity hiding if you want to maintain your long-term relationship with the client.
Use descriptive aliases that help the tutor understand the project nature.
Combine identity hiding with profile access prevention for complete protection.
Remember: If you enable "send_as_owner", the tutor will communicate in your name which enhances privacy further.
