Your money doesn't go to the tutor until you receive your work

How Do We Protect Your Money?

When you pay for a service, your money doesn't go directly to the tutor. Instead, it stays held with us until:

  • You receive your work and are satisfied with it
  • Or the safety period ends without any issues

This means you won't lose your money if any problem occurs.

You specify your requirements and expected budget.

A Tutor Is Assigned

You agree with the tutor on price and deadline.

You Pay the Agreed Amount

Your money is held in our system. The tutor knows the amount exists but cannot withdraw it.

Tutor Completes the Work

During this period, your money remains held. You can track progress and communicate with the tutor.

You Receive the Work

Review the delivered work. You have options:

  • Satisfied: Accept the work and money is released to tutor
  • Need revisions: Request revisions (free within agreed scope)
  • Not satisfied: Open a dispute and your money stays held

Safety Period

What Is the Safety Period?

Even after you accept the work, there's an additional period during which your money remains refundable. This period gives you time to discover any issues you didn't notice initially.

Safety Period Duration by Service Type:

Small services (questions) 3 days
Medium services 7-14 days
Large services (projects) 30-100 days
Note: After the safety period ends, money is automatically released to the tutor and can only be refunded in exceptional cases.

What If There's a Problem?

If you're not satisfied with the work, you can open a dispute. When you open a dispute:

You can open a dispute during the safety period if any issue arises.

Auto-Escalation

If tutor doesn't respond to your dispute within 48 hours, it's automatically escalated to admin.

Independent Review

Admin reviews disputes objectively based on submitted evidence.

When Is Money Released to Tutor?

  • When you explicitly accept the work
  • Or when safety period ends without a dispute
  • Or when dispute is resolved in tutor's favor

When Do You Get a Refund?

  • If you open a dispute and tutor accepts it
  • If you open a dispute and admin decides in your favor
  • If you cancel before work starts

Partial Refund

In some cases, admin may decide on a partial refund if part of the work was completed satisfactorily.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is my money really safe?

Yes. Your money is held in our system and no one can access it until work is completed or safety period ends. If any problem occurs, you can open a dispute and get your money back.

What if the tutor disappears and doesn't deliver?

Your money stays held. Open a "deadline missed" dispute and it will be escalated to admin. In this case, you typically get a full refund.

How long does a refund take?

If tutor accepts the dispute, refund is immediate. If admin reviews it, it may take 24-72 hours. Money returns to your wallet or original payment method.

Can I cancel after paying?

If tutor hasn't started work yet, you can cancel and get full refund. If work has started, you need to open a dispute or use smart cancellation.

What if work is good but not exactly what I asked for?

You can request free revisions within original scope. If difference is significant, open a "scope disagreement" dispute.
